Beautiful Michelle!!!

Michelle has been visiting the Cape from Texas for the past month. Unfortunately, she can probably count on one hand the sunny days she has been able to enjoy. The weather isn't really always like this, Michelle----but then again, it is New England!! I do hope she comes back many times because I love photographing her. She is a real beauty.....




One of my favorite summer songs was "Under the Boardwalk". Well, here is Michelle literally under the Boardwalk--the famous and beautiful Sandwich Boardwalk!!!!

I think she thought I had lost my mind when I asked her to climb under there!! Well worth it!!

the Cape Cod fog rolled in----

Who doesn't love Chatham? Absolutely one of my very favorite places to visit on the Cape!
Tonight I had the joy of photographing a beautiful family on the beach. It was a perfect day so I was excited. We arrived in Chatham and everything was looking good---until we got closer to the beach. Right at 7PM, the Cape Cod fog rolled in----nice and thick!! Can you even believe it? Well, it wasn't going to stop us!!


Anyone who knows me, knows that I loved raising boys!! These two brought back funny memories (I soooo enjoyed that). Ohhhhhhh.......the teasing, the horsing around, being a nudge, and, ohhhh, the laughter!!! This was sooo much fun for me. Thank you, Guys!!!

Newleyweds Cara and Nathan

Cara and Nathan had their wedding in real Cape Cod style---Popponesset Inn!!! Could it be any more beautiful? Definitely one of my very favorite venues. The view is beautiful rain or shine ---- lucky for Cara and Nathan, their day was perfect.
Even though Nathan did not want to take off his shoes (obviously not a Cape Codder)we had a ball on the beach.

Kat and Pete

When I arrived in Ptown, it was pouring rain!! Somehow, I just knew that the rain would stop in time for Kat and Pete to be married on one of the most beautiful beaches on the National Seashore. The day before, a Right Whale beached itself on the same beach!! Apparently, the eskimos believe that is the ultimate good luck!! Well, the rain stopped and the sun came out. So far so good on the 'good luck' theory!!! Have a happy life, Kat and Pete!!!

On a beautiful afternoon, I had the joy of photographing this couple on their wedding day. Do I not have the most awesome job in the world!!! I look through my lens and there is a young couple in love, strolling on a Cape Cod beach looking across the bay at Sandy Neck!!! Now I ask you: "Could you think of a better way to spend your time working???" Thanks, Tracee and Sean for letting me share this fabulous time in your life!! Meet Baby "M"

How happy was I to finally meet M. A happier, more smily baby you could never find. He is a beauty just like his big sister Sadie!!! Matt and Caroline, you have the perfect little family---just as I knew you would!!

Another session with the "B" triplets

I went back for a second session with these adorable babies. Photographing three babies is a TON of work and so much fun and I wanted to make sure I had documented this age completely! This was truly the highlight of my winter! I have known their Dad since he was about
7. Beautiful dimples and these babies have them. Baby A looks just like Dad and Baby N and R look
like their beautiful mom.
Well, A and A, when you two decide to have a family, you do it up right!!

The "C" Family

It had been two years since I first met this awesome family and WOW, have these two little girls grown!!! Even more beautiful than I remembered!! Easy and fun to photograph on a very windy Cape day! I had a ball even though they Were sporting the Phillies World Series Shirts--LOL!!

little "R"

While vacationing with her parents on the Cape from Wisconsin, little R met me in Woods Hole by Nobska Lighthouse to take some 18 month pictures. The beach sand in her toes did not make this little beauty happy!! Do you blame her? It was cold, gray and windy--typical New England and here we were putting her feet in the cold damp sand!!! You ought to be in pictures, your eyes are to die for....

Nathan and Cara E-session...

I met Nathan and Cara at the boardwalk last night. It could not have been anymore gorgeous. The sun and the sand were a little bright for Nathan's eyes (he has been burning the midnight oil working on his PhD) but we got some great shots anyway........ I can only say that Cara with her beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair is going to be a stunning bride!!!! I look forward to it, guys!!!

Heather and Matt's E-Session

Heather and Matt were sooo much fun to work with. We walked around that beach for the better part of an hour just snapping pictures and, for me, enjoying this delightful young couple!! It is fun for me to photograph couples who really enjoy each other and these two laughed and did whatever I asked them to. Their wedding is at the end of November, just at the start of 'the most beautiful time of the year!' I can't wait to see you two on this most awesome of days..........

David and Heidi

Heidi and David chose to get married at one of my favorite places on the Cape---The Sandwich boardwalk. Where I live, it was cloudy all day and I really was afraid it was going to rain but.......as I approached the Sandwich town line, I saw nothing but blue sky ahead of me! Wow!! It could not have been any more beautiful and the best thing was, because of the questionable weather, they pretty well had most of the beach to themselves!!! Congratulations, Heidi and David!!! Your family is beautiful and Heidi, I have to say your dress was awesome!!

Sarah and Jason's E-session

As time goes by, Sarah is another senior picture that I was just sure was only a couple of years ago but........It was more like ten years ago!!!! I was sooo excited when she called me to do her wedding but the bonus was meeting Jason---what an awesome couple they are. I hope they had as much fun as I did doing their engagement pictures!!!! Their wedding is on my 'can't wait' list!!!!

Sam and Melissa

Sam and Melissa.......What can I say about a groom who finally is marrying the love of his life......they fly up from Florida to get married at the Moores in Wood Hole. His whole family (whom I happen to love and have had the pleasure of photographing other members big days)is here to enjoy this most awesome of days in Sam and Melissa's life! Three days before the wedding, Sam decides to show his nephew how he can skate board...somehow, he ended up doing a flip or whatever but......the emergency room was in his cards and a big cast was on his ankle!!! He still made this day awesome for his beautiful Melissa even though he was in a great deal of pain. Melissa smiled the whole day and I wish them all the love and joy this life can offer them.

The "L" Family

Check out these three beautiful children! Children?......Beautiful young ladies is probably more like it!!! This family was on Cape Cod for a week vacation and I had the honor of taking their family picture. I say honor because this was soooo much fun. I hope they enjoyed their vacation and these memories of being together as a family---they were awesome! Thank you, L family........

Alyson

I met Alyson seven years ago when I did her older sister's senior pictures. Alyson was only about ten then---wow, have you grown up!!! Beautiful, smart and very fun to work with. Alyson just graduated two weeks ago from Falmouth High School and will be on her way to UMass- Amherst in the fall. Good luck, Al, and I hope to see Danny in the fall!!!!

Tiffany and Leo

I have known Tiffany since the day she arrived on this earth and now she is (in the image, at least) two weeks from having her own baby. She and Leo did not know what the sex of their baby was--such self control, I couldn't wait!!! When I see Leo looking at Tiffany, all I can think about is how lucky this little one is because, as the saying goes, "The greatest gift a man can give to his children is to love their mother!" Don't know who this quote belongs to, but just look at this man looking at his (shhhhhhh--little girl) baby's mother!!! They had their little girl just two weeks later!!! Tiffany hardly looks six months along!!!

Introducing the newleyweds Amy and Eric!

Amy and Eric said their vows on a beautiful Friday at St. Thomas Chapel on Falmouth Harbor. Amy truly strut down that aisle with a big smile on her face. A more beautiful bride would be very hard to find!! The happy couple and their guests walked along the harbor behind a bagpiper to their destination of Falmouth Yacht Club. Having known both of these young people for many years--Eric, since youth hockey-it was an honor for me to share in this wonder time in their life!!Happy forever, Amy and Eric!!!!!

Cassandra and Jason

After nine years, Cassandra and Jason finally said "I do"!! These two are a fun couple and are delightful to work with (even though Jason refused to take his shoes off at the beach)!! What a day they had!!! It was sunny and beautiful (every girls dream for her wedding day) and it rained (everyone knows that rain means luck for a bride and groom) and to top it all off, a beautiful rainbow appeared over Surf Drive Beach!!!

Congratulations, Jason and Cassandra!!! It truly doesn't get any better than this!!!!

Senior Reps WANTED

Colleen called in Dec. to get her senior pictures taken. Burrr.... I told her to dress warm because the beach would be cold!!! I had no idea how much the camera would love Colleen. She was loaded with personality and just whipped that jacket right off and got into it!!! She was fun to talk with and fun to take pictures of!!! How gutsy she was on that freezing cold day, I know Colleen can do anything she sets her mind to. You go girl!!!

Here is the other duo of my 'Brrrrrrr....shoot'!!!! This is Lauren. She is every bit as beautiful and gutsy as Colleen. They are hoping to get an apartment together next Fall in the city. These girls have great plans for their future and a beautiful friendship.

I first met Shari when her older brother brought her to my house as a four year old!!! When her Mom, Robin, called to see if I would do her Senior pictures, I was shocked!!! Shouldn't she still be in middle school? What a joy it was to see this beautiful girl arrive at the beach when in my mind, she was still three feet high holding her brother's hand. Nicole and John

Their wedding was at Coonamesset Inn but we hit all of the great places in Falmouth to do their pictures. Nothing could be better than a Cape Cod wedding: the beach, the jetties, the light houses and the wooden foot bridges!!! Not much direction was given to this fun couple-----they just seemed to enjoy every second of it!! I hope their life together is as wonderful as this day was!

Trash the Dress Fran Style with the help of K and C

Kelly and Chuck got married in the Virgin Island of St. John in June. After seeing many trash the dress pictures on the web, Kelly just had to do this!!! She wanted to do this on the beach that she grew up on. Wow,did she have fun!!!! We attracted quite a little crowd watching us --- I am sure they were trying to figure out 'WHY'. I know that it was entertaining for them because it certainly was for me. I felt honored that Kelly let me be a part of this.

Trash the Dress Fran Style TAKE 1 --- Sarah

I just love the concept of 'trash the dress', but having never done it before, I thought I might like to practice. This is where Sarah comes in. . . .

I emailed Sarah at work and told her what a beautiful warm day it was outside and elaborated on how much fun it would be to photograph a trash the dress session. She knows that I have an old wedding dress here because she has had to pose for me in the past. Much to my surprise, she was all for it!!!

Baby A

Baby A was a joy to photograph, at a year old she knows how to perfectly play to the camera. Mom and Dad your doing a great job with baby A, I hope to be able to photograph her many more times as she grows up. These are just a few of my favorites from our time together.

Kevin and Katelynn's wedding

Kevin and Katelynn's wedding took place at Ocean Edge in Brewster, MA. Every detail was magnificent! These two met at a wedding I was photographing and started dating at another wedding I photographed. Thank you guys for including me on your big day.
